X-Men: Days of Future Past hit theaters last weekend, and of course I had to do an outfit inspiration post. Can you guess who I am? This is my take on the lean-mean-Wolverine. Yes, I decided to put my own spin on a man’s look. I feel pretty B-A-D in this getup too. It’s so edgy, fierce, and definitely tomboy. I totally feel like I can hang out with Hugh Jackman in this outfit.
Why: Wolverine is one of my favorite characters in X-Men. I thought it would be cool to be the guy for once too… well kind of. The best part is this outfit was already in my closet. Wolverine may be a complicated mutant, but his wardrobe is quite simple. You can accomplish this look too, whether it’s to duplicate Wolverine’s style or just because you like this hardcore look.
1. Grab a white T-shirt, make sure it’s baggy. I got a men’s bundle from Walmart. Most of the time Wolverine goes shirtless but that’s NOT an option.
2. Black jeans are a must or dark blue jeans. I found mine at Platos Closet. If they are not ripped already get your scissors and start slicing. Otherwise plain black jeans will do.
3. Combat boots definitely completes this look. If you have those rock them, or another pair of all black shoes will work. Just make sure they look tough. Check out these cute boots here.
4. Last, but not least throw on a black leather vest or jacket. And don’t forget about the edgy accessories.
Some stunner shades are a must! Wolverine always has killer shades on. I snagged my Aviators from Forever 21 for $4. I wanted to add dog tags but couldn’t find them. Instead I added keys to my chain necklace. Other than that I kept my accessories simple but bold including studded earrings, a bracelet and knuckle ring.
What do you think of my look friends?
