Remember when you were a kid and your parents would always tell you to wait? Or say you’re not ready for that yet? And in the back of your mind your like, yes I am. It’s funny how when you’re young you want time to speed up, so you can do all the things big kids got to do. However, when you grow up you want time to slow down.
I’m convinced a lot of kids are growing up way to fast these days and act to grown. I’m shocked at how experienced young kids are. And how much knowledge they know-and not education wise either. They can recite an entire song, but don’t even know the ABC’s or how to spell their name.
Is it just me or is something wrong with that picture?
They know how to cuss yet, can’t even write a clear sentence… this is the world we are living in.
A world where parents care more about their childs wardrobe than about their standards or morals.
A world where parents are upset when you tell them their child needs more adult attention from them.
A world where parents want to point the finger at the school systems, when their childs behavior is really their fault to being with.
Kids are growing up too fast and are missing out on a wonderful childhood.
We have to slow them down and tell them…Wait! You’re just not ready yet. ©
