Yesterday I hit the pavement and traveled to The Appetizer Trunk Show ‘Retail Therapy for the Fashionably Hungry’ hosted by Crystal Lynn’s Boutique and Eclectic Therapy Jewelry Line. It was time well spent. I was surprised to say the least! The trunk show was quite classy. Although numerous small businesses were together representing their own brand, there was a sense of unity and appreciation for one another.
Since the event was advertised as a fashion appetizing event, I’ll play along and include my own menu in evaluation form.
Ingredients: The two main courses were Crystal Lynn’s Boutique and Eclectic Therapy Jewelry Line. Both dishes were lovely and properly executed. A little spice and sweetness was in the mix as well. Both complimented one another nicely.
The side dishes also had their own zesty flavors, which included So Anxious Clothing, Roqstars House-Boutique, Runway Diva, Fly Misses Handbags, Indy Remy Hair Boutique, Aza Image Makeup Artistry, Oaeke Designs by Arianne Mitchell, and JAIDE Body Products. (Sorry if I missed anyone.) All the dishes were delightful and quite satisfying. Not too overpowering, but seasoned just right.
Appetizers: Upon arrival I was greeted by two hostesses and prepped for what to expect. I was even treated to my own media handbag filled with goodies. Treats Included: Candy, Eclectic Therapy Jewelry Line earrings, Design Essentials hair products (shampoo, conditioner and gel) and Organo Gold coffee products from Live4alivin.com.
Leftovers: I was able to grab my own personal dishes to accompany me at home. I snagged some earrings from So Anxious Clothing. In addition, I got a shirt from Crystal Lynn’s Boutique and a sequined blazer from Runway Diva.
My overall meal was scrumptious and filled with satisfying surprises. Assistance was great. Music was nice, subtle jazz—thank God it wasn’t loud rap. The atmosphere was inviting and professional. Every table was equipped with business cards, jewelry stands or clothing racks. Best part was every item purchased was wrapped in cute paper and placed in a darling bag. No Target bags from a kitchen drawer. Everything was thought out and handled nicely.
A job well done! I can’t wait for the next meal.
