Can you believe tonight at 12 a.m. it’ll be January 1, 2013? Another year has quickly gone by. I challenge you to put the things behind you that happened in 2012, and rejoice in the NEW that is to come. One of the biggest lessons I learned in 2012 was life doesn’t go as we planned. God is completely in control. People will disappoint you. But don’t let that destroy your faith. Don’t put confidence in flesh, but trust God alone. It is okay to cry and be angry, but don’t sulk in self-pity. Get up and keep going!
Change is good and necessary. People may say, “You’re acting different.” So what! That is what life is about… changing. Never get comfortable where you are, continue to progress. Most importantly be content, while you strive for the things you desire. Complaining gets you nowhere fast. Put a magnifying glass on all the good in your life, and diminish the negativity. Start speaking life. Run from those people that continue to bring you down. Misery loves company; refuse to be their next victim. In 2013 I wish you many blessings. Cheers to another year.
