Thursday night I attended the “Love, Your Heart” cooking demonstration at The Indiana Heart Hospital. I was quite nice. A local chef came in and cooked three healthy-heart meals right before our eyes. I felt like an audience member of a renowned cooking show.
Three recipes were taught Wine Soaked Pear Salad, Sweet Onion Polenta and Pork Medallions with Mushroom Glaze. Don’t knock it until you tried it. It was all delicious! I hope to attempt to make them all in my kitchen.
Door prizes were given away as well, and I scored a $120 bracelet from Andrews Jewelers. How cool is that?! I had a great time and look forward to more healthy cooking lessons.
