It baffles me the things women will do to reach someone else’s definition of beauty. Surgery, intensive dieting, or spending large sums of money are just some of the things women will do.
However, once they have reached the beauty requirements they find something else that’s not up to par. Then once again, the need to fix it creeps up and they are searching for the next product that is going to make them beautiful.
There is nothing wrong with enhancing your beauty with makeup products or the right outfit. However, society has come to the point where you have to plump this, hid that, or tighten up just to get a compliment. There is such a thing as going OVERBOARD. Too much makeup can be unattractive. Surgery does have its setbacks. What happened to loving you for you?
Instead we compare ourselves to other people and get discouraged once we notice our flaws. The thing is everyone has flaws, rather someone sees them or not is up to the beholder. Everyone has their opinion of what beauty is and if you fit in their category or not–who cares? Of course, it’s wonderful to get compliments, but you should be pretty for you. Get dressed up for yourself. Compliment yourself!
What is society’s definition of beauty anyway? It changes everyday!
Get your own definition of beauty and stick to it. What you think of yourself is what you’ll believe. Change your thinking and you’ll change your life.
You are fun & fabulouz!
I think when God created us he was defining his definition of beauty in all of us. So look in the mirror; you’re God’s definition of beauty. ©
