Looking around the room she sees everyone else. Their hair, eyes, smile, clothes… She looks down at her own clothes, peers in the mirror at her own hair and comes to the conclusion it’s not enough. Her appearance is unworthy of attention—only in her eyes.
She ignores the beauty of her skin. She snares at the curls in her hair. Her outfit suddenly becomes hideous. Don’t be “that” girl. The one everyone has to reassure she looks okay. The girl unsatisfied with the way God made her. Be the beauty God created you to be. Beauty is you. Beauty is I. Beauty is us. Realize your beauty and own it.
