I can finally say I visited the Taj Mahal… the Taj Mahal Indian Restaurant that is. I was sort of dreading to order my food, just because I wasn’t familiar with the items on the menu. The food was also pretty expensive. The décor was plain, not really coordinating. The servers were attentive and nice. It was certainly a new environment for me. The Indian music was slamming though. The food? Well, Taj Mahal is certainly an acquired taste.
Don’t get me wrong I love spices and/or spicy food, but Taj Mahal had too much to the point where you couldn’t enjoy the flavor on the chicken curry. I suggest the lamb curry although not enough meat is provided, especially for their price. Oh and bread does not come with the meal. So if they ask you say no, unless you want to pay. I asked to make sure because it wasn’t implied. Ha!
Taj Mahal is located off of East 141st. and 37 in Fishers, IN by the Claude and Annie’s at 9251 E. 141st.
