There is nothing like a four-day weekend to get you rejuvenated. It’s just so darn refreshing. I vote for more longer weekends, are you with me? Give me an air high five if you agree. YES! I truly hope you enjoyed your holiday friends. Okay back to the business at hand, which happens to be my summer turned fall look.
I know it’s not fall yet, and some of you want to savor these last few days of summer. But I am antsy for fall fashion. It’s thee best! Although I think it feels like fall here already in Monterey. It doesn’t get that hot here at all really, which was surprising when I first moved here. I will talk about that more in another upcoming post.
I pulled out one of my favorite dresses. This dress is a bit angelic to me. It’s the white and ruffles that get me every time… so simple, yet charming. This particular dress is a sleeveless summer dress. I happen to pick it up at Aeropostale for the delightful price of $5.99. I love a good bargain.
To give it some fall attitude I chucked on a long sleeve plaid shirt, and tied it at the waist for cool points. I added layers by incorporating a varsity jacket, which gives it some panache. My thigh high stockings bring in that schoolgirl vibe. You all have seen me wear these combat boots tons of times already. They are my favorite! You’ll be seeing them a lot more and I make no apologizes for that.
I wanted to show you how you can turn that perky summer dress into a trendy fall look. What do you think?
Funny story while I was doing this photo shoot my audience happened to be some deer. Yes a couple of deer were just chilling watching me awkwardly pose. It was kind of cool. I even have some pictures of me when I first noticed them. Let’s just say those pictures were not a good look. Ha!
