I was having a discussion with someone and a conversation about pregnancy arose. They said their friend got someone pregnant out of wedlock. Their reaction was, “It’s crazy. I can’t believe it. I don’t have any friends with babies our age.” I said, “Why are you shocked that’s normal now?”
I just realized the significance of what I said, “that’s normal now.” It’s mind blowing to think that. When did we as a society get to that place? How did we get there?
I use to be shocked when I heard that news also. When did it become (shrug) it happens?
Hmmmm something to think about?! ©
