It’s no secret that I’m going on my dream vacation to Europe in two weeks. TWO WEEKS! What a glorious day that shall be. In the meantime, I’ve been getting my handy, dandy Travel Wish List ready. With all the traveling I do, I should already have some of this stuff.
This post is totally inspired by the wonderful blogger, Laura Gummerman, over at ABeautifulMess.com. Yesterday she wrote 20 Things Every Traveling Gal Needs and I gawked over the entire list. She thought of everything!
Here are some things I have my big, brown eyes on.
I made a list of all my necessities for the trip, and it turns out the majority of them are in this Emergency Kit. Genius! It’s travel friendly, includes 17 items (see picture above), and it’s all stored in a cute purse. I’m pretty sure I would have spent more on getting individual items versus this kit. Hallelujah!
2. Selfie Stick
When we went to the Grand Canyon I had to ask people to take our photo. It was a lot of commotion at the Grand Canyon so that task was not easy. I glanced over and saw so many people with selfie sticks and I envied them. I can capture the scenery and my face just how I want it with the stick. I need this in my life!
Someone help me! I’m trapped inside of a bubble. Not! That’s what I want to be trapped inside during the sudden rainfall in Europe. Everything I’ve researched says that Europe is infamous for abrupt rain. This trendy umbrella will be keeping me safe for sure. I’m hoping to find a more travel friendly one though.
I don’t know about you, but I have a difficult time sleeping on planes. “Difficult” as in I never sleep on planes. Maybe this molded eye mask will rock me to sleep? This memory foam neck pillow seems sweet too. Oh and yes, I have an unexplainable love for Hello Kitty. Judge me!
I use my phone like crazy throughout the day. Trust me it will be 100 times worse on this trip. I need my phone to be ready for selfies all day. I have my eye on this cool battery extender to help me do the job. My phone needs to be ready to WERK!
My hubby and I LOVE to watch movies/television shows together. Two people can tune in at once with this device because it allows two sets of headphones. Movie watching will certainly pass the time. Best part is it’s only four bucks.
I love the idea of writing down all my favorite spots and thoughts throughout my travels. What can I say? I’m a writer. Not only will it be for me to remember when I visit again, but I can also tell you all what I did throughout my trip. See I’m always thinking of you all. The cute journal above is available here.
8. Blank Scarf for plane
Is it just me or does airplanes try to turn you into an ice block by the time you land? BRRRR! I like to not only dress in layers, but to also have a blanket with me. A blanket and a stylish scarf is icing on the cake friends.
9. Wifi Hot Spot
I hear it’s hard to get wifi in Europe sometimes due to the old buildings. I haven’t decided if I am going to blog while I’m traveling yet though. I may blog, but not as often. I’m sure if I update anything it will be my Instagram. In the meantime, I will look into this hotspot and see if my phone carrier provides one as well.
10. Toiletries Bag
This is such a neat bag. It has storage galore and keeps everything organized. I usually put all my stuff in a plastic bag. The plastic bag is terrible for me because all my items get jumbled up. You can carry this number as a handbag and hang it in your room once you arrive.
There! I’m all done with my Travel Wish List. I think it’s a darn good one too! Do you have any travel necessities? Should I add anything else to my list? I’m so excited for this trip. Now onto more Europe research and planning my wardrobe. Eeekk!!!
Thanks for stopping by friends,
