Have you heard the fashionable news yet? Indianapolis is celebrating Fashion’s Night Out (FNO) Thursday, September 6 from 6-10 p.m. This year, with the Mayor’s Office officially endorsing FNO, Pattern is locally presenting this stylish event. FNO is a global event celebrating fashion, restoring consumer confidence, boosting the industry’s economy during the recession and putting the fun back in shopping. The best part is people like you can get involved.
As of right now there will be four fashion gigs for you to engage in. Those places are The Fashion Mall, Saks Fifth Ave, the Circle Centre Mall, and the Indianapolis International Airport. There will be local designers, style bloggers, stylists, hair and styling demonstrations and more. Plus it’s a chance for you to shop. Each spot will be giving you their own dose of fashion fun.
I’m so excited to check out the local fashion scene. I will be cruising around town checking out all the hot spots representing AK’s World. Yay! Come get involved because fashion evolves around people just like you.
Fun Fashion Fact: Last year’s bash featured events in eighteen countries and more than 4,500 events here in the States. With special limited-edition products, celebrity appearances, and unforgettable performances, FNO 2012 is promising to be even bigger and better than before.
This Fashion Friday I will be showcasing some of the major contributors to FNO right here on the blog. Stay tuned! For more information about FNO, click here. Follow FNO locally at @FNOIndy to stay connected.
