Yesterday on Facebook I announced I am going on a trip of a lifetime. I, Adrian, will be traveling to Europe. I will be vacationing in London, Paris, Barcelona and Rome. Yes, I just mentioned four cities and I will be spending four days in each one.
Somebody pinch me! I’m getting my travel on.
That’s right, I am getting my tail out of the United States for a good few weeks and I could not be more thrilled. I’ve always wanted to go to Europe. Eeekkk this will be my first time using my passport. Europe is my top place to visit on my bucket list. I’ve always been obsessed with the culture there. Now that I will get to see it in front of me is just so darn fantastic.
My love and I will be boarding the plane in three weeks. THREE WEEKS. That is so soon! T-minus 25 days until I leave for my dream vacation. AHHHHHH!
If you haven’t guessed it already my Friday Five will be all things related to Europe. I’m warning you this may be the case for a while. I’ve been pinning inspiration on Pinterest of course, so today I’m listing all my favorite Europe related pins so far.
No one wants to go broke traveling abroad. I’m hunting down all the cool free things I can do while traveling throughout Europe. Gah I’m going to be traveling throughout Europe!!!
I want to look like I belong because pickpocketing is common in Europe. I don’t want to be a target. I’m getting the inside scoop on how to dress, how to greet people, and more. Those pickpocketers better watch out!
I travel a lot! I already downloaded quite a few apps that will help with travel, food, money, and foreign signs. I even found one that will locate a pizza place closet to me no matter where I am located. Now THAT my friends is amazing!
I mentioned I’ll be spending four days in each city so I need to pack light to keep it moving. I need outfits that are stylish, yet versatile. My packing can easily be all over the place because “you never know what you’ll need” but not this time friends. I plan to be strategic about what I bring. I can’t wait to show you how I recreate looks over and over again while traveling in Europe. This post is a great example of a wearable capsule wardrobe.
If you were a Disney Channel fanatic like me back in that day you may associate Barcelona with The Cheetah Girls. I love The Cheetah Girls and want to “strut like I mean it” through the streets of Barcelona just like they did. This guide offers great tips on how to do just that.
You know I LOVE to eat! So I’m discovering all the joints I can eat at that has a great price tag as well. Need I say more?
Have you been to Europe? What are some things I should definitely check out? Follow my travel pins on Pinterest here. That’s what I’ve been up to all week. Now I’m off to do some more research. Au revoir (that’s goodbye in French)!
Thanks for stopping by,
