This has been an exciting year for my blog. A whole, new website makeover took place, new features were added and one year was celebrated. I even went over and beyond my goals set for 2012. It has been amazing! Let’s take this time to reminiscence on some of my favorite posts of 2012. I already revealed my favorite Tasty Tuesday spots. So it’s only fitting I pay homage to my everyday content too. From the fashion features to the AK’s picks there was a lot of entertainment. It was so hard to choose. Ahhh!!!
Gesh there are 370 posts from last year. Ha! It was hard narrowing it down. I’m sure I will want to switch them up later, but here is Part 1 of my Top 20 Posts from 2012. I couldn’t narrow it down more.
I had a ball writing this post. It came to me out of nowhere. I was trying to get some inspiration and BOOM. I saw a cupcake and was like, “I love food and fashion.” Oh I should make a post about how food and fashion mix. And there you have it. Peek at the full post here.
Back to School Essentials
Didn’t you adore returning to school to start the new year? Well, if you looked forward to school, like me, you would have. My back to school post took me back to those wonderful days of planning what I would wear (even though I wore a uniform), how I would style my hair and everything. So much fun! Walking Away From Your Dreams
This woman is inspirational to me. She was able to be obedient to God in the midst of criticism. She was living her dream or so she thought. She realized that dream wasn’t for her, and it was unfitting to her Christian lifestyle. Her story puts a whole new meaning to, “you can not separate your beliefs from what you do.” Peek at the full post here.
I loved watching the 2012 Olympics. Seeing all those talented athletes in one arena is thrilling. Swimmer Michael Phelps and gymnast Gabby Douglas are some of my favorites. Wish it didn’t take so long for the Olympics to return. Truly inspirational. Here I talk about the fashion haves for all the enthused fans of the Olympics. Peek at the full post here.
Holiday Outfit Inspiration: How The Grinch Stole Christmas
I loved the holiday inspiration from this post. I can’t wait to add more twists next year to my holiday posts. Truly it was so fun to come up with. I took awhile with my selections. I think it was so worth it all. Peek at the full post here.
This is when I incorporated storytelling into my blog post. I mixed it up! I had so much fun with this post. I remember being so ecstatic with the way the intro turned out. That spur of the moment was truly one of the times I remembered why I love to blog. Peek at the full post here.
Pretty Little Fashion
I absolutely enjoy watching Pretty Little Liars, and revealing where to purchase the fashion debuted on each episode. These posts are among the top on my blog. It’s not easy finding each outfit. So it’s nice to see readers enjoy it. Plus the jewelry designer from the show even spoke to me about her designs. Too cool! Peek at my pretty little posts here.
State Fair Signature Food
I love the Indiana State Fair. Absolutely crave for its return every year. So covering it for the blog was too fun. I tried as much food as I could this past year too. Next year I have an even bigger twist. Ha! Peek at the full post here.
Redemption Boutique: Free Spirit
This mini fashion feature was so enjoyable. Talking to the owner, Amber Davis, about the inspiration behind the summer collection at Redemption Boutique was tremendous. The photos were gorgeous too. Peek at the full blog post here.
What’s Your Shoe Personality
I just love fashion quizzes. It was so fun hunting down the shoes and discovering the personalities along the way. You’ll be surprised at what your shoes say about you ladies. Peek at the full blog post here.
Did these posts spark your memory? I’ve written so much over the past year. Peek at my other 10 picks tomorrow.
