Wow! I am still in awe of how this night was filled with delicious food with the most horrible service. Yes, I did report the server too. It was that bad. If it were not for the down right outstanding barbeque it would be a totally different story. I just can’t believe how ridiculous our waiter was. Sigh… nevertheless Famous Dave’s has excellent barbeque. I couldn’t keep my hands clean from barbeque goodness.
I’m quite fond of the big-home-kitchen-feel of Famous Dave’s. Photos of pigs, barbeque etc. cluttered the wall along with teapots and quirky sayings like, “spacious swine dining area,” “no bone throwing in the aisles,” or “eat like a pig.” Ha! If you are new to Famous Dave’s they give a sauce presentation to get you familiar with the sauces before eating. It was helpful. The Sweet & Tasty sauce is my favorite.
Again, everything was wonderful besides our inattentive, missing in action waiter. Another waitress took up his slack and was great. She saved the day! I couldn’t believe how unprofessional this waiter was. He didn’t even show up to order our drinks. Someone else took the order and brought them over. After that, we waited another 20 minutes for him. For some reason no-one could ever find this guy. Ok… I will move on because it was quite disturbing. We seriously waited for 30 minutes just to receive our check. Ugh!
P.S. The service would’ve been a F- if it weren’t for the other waitress.
I visited the Famous Dave’s in Noblesville. For more information about Famous Dave’s, click here.
