I’ll take the same dress with different accessories. Just add some boots and a kimono this time please. I’m all about that wear-that-dress-over-again-in-different-ways life. Just call me Ms. Repeat Wearer! I try to get the best usage out of my clothes. Plus it’s just good ole fun seeing what I come up with next.
Sometimes as fashion bloggers we can get carried away with the “new” and forget the gems we already have in our wardrobe. I save money by reevaluating my closet every now and then and saying, “Now how can I make this look different?”
I know it’s almost time to get in the groove of fall. But I am here to tell you not ALL your summer clothes need to go in a crate locked in a dungeon collecting dust all fall season. Some things you can actually reinvent. All it takes is some layering. That’s just what I did with my little black dress I snagged from Plato’s Closet for SIX WHOLE DOLLARS.
I also wore this black dress while playing dress up for my Maleficent inspired look here, and for my Dancing with the Stars look here. Too cool my dear! This time I decided to put a fall spin on this shimmy baby.
Surprise I am wearing this kimono again too, which breathes new life into this little dress. They compliment one another so well. For more warmth I wore a black cami underneath the dress too. Is it just me, or does adding stockings to a look instantly say fall? These boots are my best friend because they seriously go with anything. This ensemble is full of character!
Your black dress can be sported so many ways. All it takes is a little imagination friends. This look couldn’t be more fall appetizing.
