I think that’s a big deal.
A miracle is happening, yet again, inside of me and it’s just surreal. Before I was pregnant I never thought about how freaking phenomenal it is to carry and birth a child. It’s an honor that only we as women can experience. We are creators. Humans are on this planet because of us. Without women there would be no you.
Women are often misunderstood, under-appreciated, and underestimated. The pain we undergo, the sacrifices we make, and the struggles we have to endure in a society that constantly undermines us is astounding.
We are more than our beauty. We are more than our bodies. We are more than the limits placed upon us. We are powerful.
I hope whoever is reading this today knows their worth as a woman. We are all created by the most high God and He’s blessed us with different characteristics, talents, and desires to embrace.
If we don’t embrace ourselves how can we expect others to?
There’s beauty in this journey called life and that beauty looks different for all of us. Right now my beauty involves being pregnant again. When it’s all said and done I want to be able to say I embraced this time, because I’ll never be able to relive these moments again.
This post went into a whole other direction than I thought it would go, but I like where it ended up.
P.S. The clothes I’m wearing here are all old and unavailable. If you would still like to know where I purchased them though the dress is from Forever 21 and the kimono is from Charlotte Russe. You can get the Converse here. I don’t always showcase the available fashions, but this is still trendy and easy to recreate.
Thanks for stopping by,
