Hmm so how did I come up with this topic? Well, from glancing around my apartment looking for some chocolate, knowing I don’t have any, to seriously thinking about grabbing some Arby’s this is what I came up with. Ha!
Confession: I am a messy eater. Point. Blank. Period. No matter how hard I try not to leave crumbs it happens. Yes, I chew with my mouth closed and make sure a napkin is within reach however I have a lot of “unladylike” moments.
Side Note: This is for when I’m alone, for the most part in public I’m on my best behavior. 🙂 All right here are my fashionable eating tips. Take a peek.
• Wipe your mouth and hands off frequently.
A clean face is a prettier face—enough said.
• Cover your mouth when you speak or wait until you are done swallowing.
Is extra commentary really needed for this tip?
• Chew your food.
Getting rushed to the emergency room because you choked on a chicken bone is not worth it. Stop gulping food like you drink milk.
• Do not hunch over your plate.
Like my mom would say “your food is not going to jump off your plate.” Hunching is horrible for your back as well.
• Use a fork.
I do a lot of finger eating, especially when I’m in I-want-it-now-mode. I’m trying to convert to forks. Perk: they do make less of a mess and keep your fingers clean.
• Make healthier choices.
Not only is this healthy for your body but you’ll feel better as well. Healthy is indeed sexy.
