This year really flew by. I say that every year, but it really seems like every year goes by faster than the last. I can’t believe Christmas is in TWO days. Last year I announced my pregnancy around this time. Wow!
My greatest blessing was gifted to me this year and her name is Aria. My daughter alone makes 2016 one for the books. She has brought a whole new meaning to my life. This is Aria’s first Christmas so of course family photos were in order. We set up the automatic timer and posed away.
I love the results. My little family is everything to me.
My life changed after I had my daughter Aria. I’m a different person. I’ve been trying to share this new woman on this space, but so far I’m failing. My blogging routine and my creative process has changed.
For the majority of this year I’ve been in a blogging runt.
I’ve been struggling when it comes to updating this space regularly like I use to. Adjusting to motherhood and poor time management is on the top of my excuses list. This is the year I learned how much I truly suck at managing my time, especially when a baby is in the mix.
My priority is my family. I chose reading with my daughter instead of brainstorming. Cuddling with my husband instead of writing. And lounging around instead of editing. I don’t apologize for that. I do apologize for not managing my time well enough so that I can do both.
Going into the new year with better time management skills is on the agenda. I have some great content planned for 2017. I’m excited to share it with you soon.
In the meantime my family and I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
See you next year!
